Broil

Broiling salmon is one of the most straightforward techniques. After seasoning your salmon with your favorite herbs, preheat your broiler to high and place your fillets on greased aluminum foil to prevent sticking. 

Place your salmon 5 inches away from the coils and broil for about 7 minutes when your broiler is ready. Check your fillet is done by seeing if it easily flakes! Prepare your sides, and you’re ready to eat!

Pan-Fry

Pan-frying salmon is one of the most popular ways to prepare your salmon. The lovely golden crust and skin are so crispy; it’s absolutely a delight, and you can easily make it at home!

Heat your nonstick pan or cast-iron skillet on medium-high and coat the bottom of your pan with olive oil, butter, or vegetable oil. When the pan is hot, place your fillets skin side up and cook until your fillets naturally release from the pan with a spatula. In about 6 minutes, a crust will fully form, and the fillet will be easy to flip. 

After flipping your salmon, cook the skin side for an extra 4 minutes. If the skin is too crispy, but the center of your fillet is firm, put your salmon in the oven at 350 degrees and roast for about 5 minutes.

Bake

Like broiling, baking your salmon is one of the best ways to prepare your salmon because it’s quick, easy, and hands-off! You can season your salmon with your favorite herbs, spices, salt, pepper, and lemon juice to create a classic salmon fillet.

To bake your salmon, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line your baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place your fillet skin down for about 13 to 15 minutes. Make sure to check if it’s done; if so, you’re ready to eat!

If you have leftovers after you’ve enjoyed your salmon, you can keep them refrigerated for about four or five days before they go bad. Salmon is a versatile dish that is quick and easy to make! You can pair your fish with roasted vegetables, rice, or a light pasta dish.
