The classic pub style sandwich you can have at home instead of getting out into the world which is currently going through a corona virus pandemic. The classic club house is one of my favourite sandwiches when out a pub and munching down on some pub food classics. This is a recipe that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home, especially for those that can not get out and about as they normally would. I created a classic club at home with a couple of changes that worked out just great but feel free to substitute ingredients as you see fit. I boiled the chicken for a quicker meal prep and the bacon was baked in the oven to avoid mess covered in aluminum foil, you’ll need to bake longer then time shown if you prefer your bacon to be crispy. I am not a mayo fan so replaced it with some old style dijon mustard and the texas style toast bread is a must, make sure you use real cheese slices and not the process kind for best taste.
