Potato, Tuna and Egg Dish

Family Recipes

The holiday season is upon us as we try to enjoy time with family and friends while doing are best to maintain safe as this pandemic rages on. This is one of my favourite dishes growing up with my family, it is quick to make and so delicious you’ll be wondering why you did not know about it sooner. The key ingredients to this recipe are potatoes, tuna and eggs and these just can not be substituted if you are looking to maintain an authentic western European style dish. The potatoes can be boiled or baked in the oven, it’s really your choice if you are looking for a soft or crispy texture. The recipe below will describe how to boil the potatoes but if you are looking to bake them then what you will need to do is preheat your oven to 400F, mix the potatoes with olive oil sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder and bake covered for 45 minutes then uncover for the final 10 minutes. Add the remainder ingredients to your baking dish as the potatoes are the first to go inside it even if boiled.
