While we normally grate a clove of nutmeg over our rice pudding, it can also be used with savory dishes such as stews to add body and flavor.
You can buy it pre powdered, but we prefer to buy the dried nuts and then use a fine grater to make our own. This one also happens to be divine over a few evening cocktails.
